 Biking Trail Shuttle Bus Services
(Tucker Co. and Surrounding Areas)

Pick up & Drop off Services:

Dryfork Adventures now offers rails to trails pick up and drop off services.  Bike Shuttle Bus Services are available by appt. 7 days per week, anytime of day, all seasons, year round.

(1.) Allegheny Highlands Trail from Hendricks to Elkins. 

The Route:  The Allegheny Highlands Rail Trail is a 21-mile rail bed running from Parsons to Elkins. It meanders through woods and fields with trailhead kiosks, parking, and trail maps along the way.  Asphalt and gravel.

Where to meet: Meet at the parking area for the Hendrick's Swinging Bridge in Hendricks.

(2.) Blackwater Canyon Trail  From Thomas to Hendricks along the blackwater canyon, passing douglas falls along the way. 

The Route: The Blackwater Canyon Rail Trail is a 10-mile reclaimed rail line that starts in Thomas and proceeds through the majestic Blackwater Canyon. Featuring historic coke ovens, several bridges and of course the grandeur of the canyon itself, this trail is awe-inspiring.  

Where to meet:  Meet at the Hendricks Swinging bridge in Hendricks and we will take up the mountain to Thomas at the start of the blackwater canyon trail.

 

(3.) Government Rd. from Parsons to Elkins along the Shaver's Fork of the Cheat River, a spectacular riverside gravel and dirt road.    

The Route:  a spectacular riverside gravel road which parallels the Shaver's fork of the Cheat River to Elkins from Parsons.  Rural, little traffic, spectacular views.

Where to Meet: Meet at Mill Race Park just across the blackfork river bridge as you enter into Parsons for pick up. We will take you to Elkins at the start of Government Rd. and you can bike back along this scenic road to your vehicle.

(4.) Fernow Experimental Forest / Brooklyn Heights Rd. / Allegheny Highlands Trail Parsons loop.

The Route: We will shuttle you to the end of Brooklyn Heights Rd. along the dryfork river... you then bike to the Fernow, follow the 701 loop, double back Hendricks Swinging bridge and follow 4 miles of the Allegheny Highlands Trail back to Parsons and your vehicle.

Where to Meet: Meet at Mill Race Park just across the blackfork river bridge as you enter into Parsons for pick up.

We are open to other biking shuttle expeditions by request also.  You decide the pick up point for you and your party and we meet you there and take you to your trail destination.  And then you bike one way only back to your vehicles.
